On a typical shift you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
