Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile tyre fitter in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. Day-to-day duties: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Rotating shifts.
