Great opportunity: shopfront glazier (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Richmond County, New York. The job is on a high-rise facade project. On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points. What we are looking for: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
