Reinforcement steel fixer — Danja

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Danja, Katsina State. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time with occasional weekends.
