Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Gilmer County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Full-time, day shift.
