Great opportunity: toolroom milling operator (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
