Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands 2+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
