Fabricator-welder — Conejos County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Conejos County, Colorado. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
