Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Macon County, Missouri. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Your main tasks: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
