We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Pike County, Illinois. You will work at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
