What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance On a typical shift you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste.
