Canteen cook wanted in San Patricio County

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in San Patricio County, Texas. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies You will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs.
