Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Full-time, day shift.
