Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State. The role involves shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
