Plant operator — Medina County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Medina County, Ohio. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
