Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Haywood County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
