Now hiring: crane rigger (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Henderson County, North Carolina. The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
