Acoustic insulation fitter wanted in Charlevoix County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Charlevoix County, Michigan. You will be based at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Your main tasks: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
