Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Dodge County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Dodge County, Georgia. You will work on a road and bridge project. You will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
