GMAW welder • Wakulla County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Wakulla County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
