Concrete placer wanted in Bleckley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Bleckley County, Georgia. The job is on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
