Immediate opening: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Gates County, North Carolina. The job is at a fast-food outlet. On a typical shift you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
