Fabricator-welder — Lagos Island Local Government Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lagos Island Local Government Area, Lagos State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
