Scaffold fitter — Owerri Municipal

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Owerri Municipal, Imo State. The job is on a residential housing development. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang The role involves: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use 4+ years on the tools preferred.
