Tailor machinist wanted in Bienville Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
