Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Union County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Full-time, day shift.
