Gas pipeline fitter — Whitman County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Whitman County, Washington. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
