Brick mason — York County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in York County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
