Nursery worker — Lyon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Lyon County, Kentucky. The job is at a landscaping company. Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts.
