Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Gogebic County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
