VMC operator • Vernon County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Vernon County, Missouri. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
