Vacancy available: we are hiring a bike messenger in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The job is at an e-commerce last-mile depot. Ideal candidate: • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike • Valid two-wheeler driving licence • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app Your main tasks: • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Carry food orders in an insulated thermal box to keep meals hot • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Keep the delivery bag and box clean and hygienic for food orders • Sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
