Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Putnam County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
