Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Rowan County, Kentucky. You will work at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Part-time with flexible hours.
