Commercial refrigeration engineer — Winn Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Winn Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Clean condenser and evaporator coils What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
