Gas commissioning technician • Inverclyde, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
