Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Monroe County, Michigan. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
