Machinist wanted in Hocking County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Hocking County, Ohio. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
