Flatlock machine operator wanted in Caldwell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Caldwell County, Kentucky. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
