Elevator technician — Phillips County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Phillips County, Arkansas. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
