EHS coordinator — Saint Bernard Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
