Quality checker — Perry County

Join our team: we are hiring a quality checker in Perry County, Ohio. The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems 6+ years on the tools preferred.
