Lift mechanic • Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a busy lift company. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
