Tower crane operator wanted in Chowan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Full-time with occasional weekends.
