CNC milling operator • City of Fairfax, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in City of Fairfax, Virginia. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
