The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
