Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Morton County, North Dakota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
