Cnc turning machinist — Borough of Tameside

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Borough of Tameside, England. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). 3+ years on the tools preferred.
