Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Tompkins County, New York. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
