Elevator service technician wanted in Morgan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Morgan County, Missouri. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
